“Got to go back again“
We stayed here for a week in late August. What wonderful hosts and such a lovely place. Both of the owners were very welcoming and ideas of where to go and how good places where to eat. They are full of great advise and helped to ensure we have a great stay. There dogs are great entertainment and our dog got on really well with theirs too. The accommodation was very well kept and super clean. Its in a superb location close enough to all the great local attractions and I must say its super quiet, hopefully we will be back again next year

“Fantastic little piece of heaven“
Lovely quiet location, with great views of the Cornish country side. It's about 5 mins by car to Looe and Polperro. On our arrival we were greeted by Jean & Mike who made us feel very welcome Jean took us to our cottage and explained everything we needed to know about the cottage. She had also left us home made cream tea in the fridge which was lovely. They also told us places we might like to visit and local walks in the area. We did the walk into Polperro which took us just over an hour with our dog. Wear there are plenty of dog friendly pubs to eat and drink. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need for a great holiday, I got use to ducking alot being 6'7" and the doors being very low. We also had use of our own private garden with seating. We will definitely be staying with Jean & Mike in the future in there little piece of Cornish heaven. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

“Lovely cottage stay“
I’m not sure what more can be said of a stay in Wheel Cottage. After a very warm welcome by Mike and Jean (with a lovely cream tea to see us settle in) we were guided around this gorgeous cottage and its history. Mike was nothing short of attentive and offered logs for the wood burner and free range eggs from the chucks. Always on hand to assist and full of advice and local knowledge. This cottage was the ideal base for our walks to Polperro and Looe and was just perfect for the two of us and the pup. We would highly recommend a stay in Wheel Cottage if you want to relax and unwind (just not in September when we are looking to return!). Thank you Jean and Mike for making us feel very welcome and at home. Hope to see you soon.

Wonderful, warm hospitality on arrival by Jean. with the added bonus of scones, cream and jam awaiting for us in the fridge. Lovely comfy accommodation. Great to have 2 sofas in the lounge. Fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom. Jean and Mike respect your privacy but are friendly at the same time and get it just right. We were so lucky with the weather that we were able to sit outside. It was lovely to sit down by the pond in the sunshine with a glass of wine or we were welcome to sit on the shared patio behind the kitchen. Both dogs and the 2 cats were so friendly and Tessa loves to play ball. Tourist info and a map of how to walk to Polperro through the green lanes are available in the cottage. The lane to the farm is really quiet as the only traffic will be vehicles going to the farm so perfectly safe to walk along. The village has a pub, 2 stores, post office and a friendly social club which welcomes visitors, all within a 10/15 minute walk. The bus to Polperro and Looe by the church is also very handy if you don't want to drive. Perfect location as lovely and quiet but not far away from the coast. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.
